GREEN, VIRGINIA MARY - (1922 - 2012) - Mrs. Virginia Mary Green of Grand Harbour Grand Manan Island passed away on Sunday April 22, 2012 at the Grand Manan Hospital. Born in 1923 she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marjorie (Benson) Wilson of Seal Cove. She is survived by her husband Liscombe Green, one son Joey (Diania) Green of Grand Harbour, and one sister Geraldine Nelson of Seal Cove. Two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Garfield Wilson.
Visiting will be held at the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the church on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Ward McComiskey officiating and Rev. Peter Smith assisting. Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
