It is with great sadness that the family of the late WINNIE MARIE SHEPPARD of Salmonier, Burin announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday April 8, 2012 at the age of 60. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Husband Wilfred of 40 years; Son Dwayne (Florence) of Terrace, BC; Daughter Michelle Sheppard (Randy Patey) of St. John’s; Sisters Bernadette Dinner, Bridget Farrell, Eileen Dooley, Shirley Hand, Maureen Lundrigan, Joyce Lundrigan and Families; Brothers Vince, Ed, Jerry, Jim, Mike, Bill and Families; 3 Grandchildren Ryan, Alycia and Beth; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Bernard & Alice Lundrigan; Brother Ray and Sisters-in-law Shirley, Judy and Mary.

Funeral Mass took place on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 2:00pm from St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Burin. Interment followed at the R.C. Cemetery in Fox Cove. In Winnie’s memory, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or St. Patrick’s RC Church. Flowers gratefully accepted.
