BILLINGS, YVONNE EDNA MARGUERITE - Yvonne (Hanson) Billings of Central Hainesville, NB passed away April 27, 2012 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Hainesville, NB in 1936, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Jane (Seymour) Hanson. She is survived by three daughters, Susan Lewis (Milster), Zealand, NB, Diane Billings, Kingston, ON and Christine King (Stephen), Lincoln, NB; eight grandchildren, Corey, Tonya, Sonya, Kelly, Brad, Chad, Tywallia and Sarah; six great grandchildren, Brandi, Brooke, Tyson, Ethan, Laughlen and Hudson; three sisters, Rowena Estey, Nashwaak Village, NB, Evelyn Waugh (Lloyd), Douglas, NB and Jean Gruchy (Donald), Silverwood, NB; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George W. Billings in 2007; an infant son, Stephen George Billings in 1961; a brother, Douglas Hanson; seven sisters, Dorothy McCann, Pauline Godsoe, Carolyn Brewer, Lillian Smith, Beatrice Johnson, Marina Brown and Helen Bird.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment at Central Hainesville Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Yvonne, the family has suggested the Central Hainesville Cemetery or Canadian Cancer Society.
