At the Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia, Ont., on Sunday, April 22, 2012, of Arnold Rankin MacDonald, formerly of O’Leary, aged 77, husband of the late Olive (nee Winsor) MacDonald. He was born in Milo on Feb. 8, 1935, Son of the late Grover and Mary (Campbell) MacDonald. Arnold was dear brother to Gordon, O’Leary; Keir (Rose), O’Leary; Florence (Rufus) Myers, Summerside; Shirley (Grant) Brooks, Union Corner; Keith (Linda), O’Leary; Nina (John) Munch, Sask.; Wayne (Rena), Summerside; Blair (Gerarda), Charlottetown; and Daryl (Rushell), O’Leary. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Sheila MacDonald, Fredericton, N.B., and Joyce Collins, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Arnold was predeceased by his parents, wife, brothers Cecil and Major. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with the funeral on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo. In memory of Arnold, memorials to the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo, or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
