BARRY, John J. (Jack) – 1931-2012. Passed peacefully away at his home in Clarenville on Friday, April 27, 2012, Jack Barry. Predeceased by son Shaun. Left with wonderful loving memories his wife, snuggle buggle and best friend Georgina (Vardy) and loyal companion Buddy; daughters: Heather (John) and Stephanie (Jenn); son Michael (Cheryl); grandchildren: Andrew, Jonathan, Anna, Adam and Tinaya; three great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Funeral service to take place 2 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church with cremation to follow. In his memory, donations may be made to the Clarenville Area SPCA, 125 Huntley Drive, Clarenville, NL, A5A 4L1. Jack was very active in sports especially Soccer and in many service groups — Legion, Rotary, Lions and as a Community Volunteer. His working career consisted of Military (Air Force), Public Health Inspection and Army Reserves-Canadian Rangers.
