JEWETT, IVA MARGARET - Iva M. Jewett of Jewetts Mills, NB passed away May 3, 2012 at White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction, NB. Iva was born at Jewetts Mills, York County, NB in 1931, a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Thomas) Jewett. She lived for a few years at Maple Villa in Temperance Vale and enjoyed the time spent with the other residents there. Iva was a member of Mactaquac Baptist Church and when she lived in Temperance Vale she attended and joined the Nackawic Baptist Church. Iva is survived by a niece Mary Cain (Alfred) of Tracy, NB; a nephew Albert Gordon (Dawna) of Jewetts Mills, NB and several cousins, great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Hannah and Stewart Gordon.
Visiting hours will be held at the Mactaquac Baptist Church, 1494 Route 105, Mactaquac, NB on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 12 noon until the hour of service at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Beckwith officiating. Interment will follow in Mactaquac Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Iva, the family has suggested the White Rapids Manor Mini-bus Fund.
