The death occurred peacefully with her family by her side of Rita Gallant at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, and formerly of Mont-Carmel on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Bruno and Marie Anne (Arsenault) Gallant. Survived by sister-in-law Théresa Gallant and numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by brothers and sister Théodore, Amédée, Marguerite and Adélard. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Saturday, May 5, then to Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in church cemetery. Visiting hours Friday, May 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until time of funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
