BABIN, DENIS - 1959 - 2012 - Denis Babin, 52, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, May 6th, 2012, at his residence. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Lucille (née: Melanson) and the late Raymond Babin. Mr. Babin worked for Erman Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Denis had a passion for the outdoors, he enjoyed four-wheeling and cruising with his Honda Gold Wing. Besides his mother, Lucille Babin of Dieppe, he is survived by his wife, Kathleen (née: Lagacé); two daughters: Renée (Alpha) and France (Scott), both of Moncton; three sisters: Raymonde (Jean-Guy) Babineau of Pointe-Claire, QC, Gertrude (Arthur) Gauvin of Grande-Digue and Joanne Babin (Clement) Arsenault of Moncton; one brother, Fernand (Patricia) of Dieppe, an extended Lagacé family, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by one daughter, Isabelle, and also by one sister, Angela.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
