MELANSON-SOUCOUP, LISE - Lise Melanson-Soucoup, 49, of Moncton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her extended family on May 6, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born January 25, 1963 in Moncton, she was the daughter of Rita Richard and the late Normand Melanson. She was an estimator for Troy Life & Fire Safety. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf and bowling. Lise will be greatly missed by her spouse, Edwin Corcoran; a stepson, Timothy of Petawawa, ON; two sisters: Rose LeBlanc (Gilles) and Carmen Gagnon (Gilles) both of Grand-Barachois; a brother, Victor (Georgine) of Shediac; many nieces and nephews as well as the Corcoran Family.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, May 9 from 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, May 10, from 9 a.m. until time of departure (10:00). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacre Coeur R.C. Church, Haute-Aboujagane, on Thursday May 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Lise, donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital palliative care unit or a memorial of choice would be appreciated by the family.
