It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Andrew Parsons announces his passing on Friday May 4, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 47 years. Born at Isle aux Morts, Richard was the son of the late Richard Harvey and Sadie Parsons, he was also predeceased by his sister in law Verna Parsons. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brother George (Glenda) Parsons, his sister Liz (Dave) Whitten all of Isle aux Morts. Nephews; Craig (Pam) Parsons Porter's Lake NS, Jason Parsons (Louise) Edmonton Alberta. Nieces; Sonja (Mike) Millard St. John's, Clara (Scott) Hollingsworth Lantz NS, special caregiver Cindy (Rob) Hayward Port aux Basques , special friends Nikita, Nathan along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Richard touched the lives of many people with his smile and gentle presence. Visitation took place on Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Tuesday May 8, 11 AM at East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques officiated by Rev. Kris Gosse. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery Isle aux Morts Road.
