NEILL, DAVID WILLIAM - Stewiacke - David William Neill, 54, Stewiacke, N.S., passed away May 10, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, with his family at his side, following a brief illness. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of Phyllis (Miller) Neill, Burton, N.B., and the late Bill Neill. A dedicated worker, he had several jobs, but his real love was the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his hunting camp. He will be sadly missed by partner, Rhonda Gross; his mother; sisters, Nancy (Roger) Hyatt, Stella (Richard) Maillet, Peggy Neill; brother, George (Laurie); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and many special friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a niece in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
