Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, May 11, 2012, of Loretta I. “Etta” Thomson (nee Nicholson) of the Garden Home and formerly of West Royalty, age 92 years.
Dear mother of David (Gloria), Gail Sanderson (Ralph), Libby MacDonald (Blair), Allan (Merle), Kenny (Nancy). Loving grandmother of Kent Thomson, Clay Thomson, Trent Thomson (Tracy), Krista Sanderson, Trevor Sanderson (Melissa), Barb Mitchell (Billy), Christopher MacDonald (Lysa), Jason MacDonald (Coralie), Aaron MacDonald, Melanie MacDonald (Allan), Danny Thomson (Anita) and Jenna Thomson. Lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Erma Nicholson, Jane Thomson, Daisy Thomson and Sheila Thomson.
Predeceased by her husband David Thomson, by her parents Samuel and Mary (Finlay) Nicholson and by her brothers and sisters Ellie MacLellan (Eddie), Janie Gurney (Lyle), Annie Cudmore (Howard), James Nicholson, Lancie Nicholson, Malcolm Nicholson (Sally), Mary Noye (Perce) and Vince Nicholson.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
