Passed peacefully away on Mother’s Day, May 13, 2012 at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Residence, our dear mother, Una Allison (Gillard) Barter R.N. Leaving to mourn her children Shelley (Gord Gill), Glenn (Beverley), Robert (Gail), Heather (Adrian McKeever) and Geoffrey (Brenda). Also her very special nieces Elizabeth Lewis (Wayne Griffin), Leona Reed (Mike) and Betty Bussey (Frank). Her grandchildren Mark Penney, Brian Penney and Julie Gill, Glenda Brown (Alan), Wanda Reddin (Harry), Valerie Caines (Charlie), Kristen Barter (Sean Mendonca), Laura Barter, D.J. Loper (Alisha), Merlin Loper and Crystal Ables (Preston). Great grandchildren Kirsten and Rebecca Brown, Carson and Cole Reddin, Tony, Emelia and Ricky Ables. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Kenny’s Pond for their exceptional kindness and care of our mother. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, May 15, from 2-4 and 7-9, and on Wednesday, May 16, from 10:00 am to noon. Funeral service will be held from St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Avenue, on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 2:00 pm. Interment to be announced.
