Major Eric Brown died peacefully on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Wanda, awesome father to Stephanie (Brian), Jennifer and Darrell (Heather), cherished Poppy to Chelsea and Cameron; loving brother to Margaret (David) Hiscock, Norma (Eli) Stuckless and brother-in-law to Craig Inder (Beverly), Dale Inder (Betty Anne Younker), Terry Inder, Wayne Inder, and Grayling (Jacqueline) Crites; caring son-in-law to Louetta Inder, and fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Eric has joined his late parents Allan and Clarice Brown and sister Enid Crites. Eric was known for his dry wit, gentle spirit, and strong faith in Christ. He dedicated his life to serving others as an officer in The Salvation Army. Our deep appreciation is extended to the staff of Scarborough General Hospital and Kennedy Lodge who cared for Eric so lovingly in his final days. Visitation: Ogden Funeral Home on Friday, May 18th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service: The S.A. North Toronto Community Church (Yonge and Eglinton) on Saturday, May 19th at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army Howard Hospital in Zimbabwe (1-800-SAL-ARMY) would be appreciated.
