Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the L.A. Miller Centre, Veteran’s Pavilion on Saturday, May 19th, 2012. William J. Barton, age 81 years. Predeceased by his two sons William A. Barton and Daniel Roy Barton; his parents Patrick John and Mary Barton as well as his brother Norman Barton. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Barbara; one son John Wayne Barton (Deborah); four daughters, Sandra Palmer, Rosemary Barton, Barbara Barton and Susan Collier (Augustus); twelve grandchildren, Scott, James, Jason, Chelsae, Dawn, Brittany, Janelle, Christopher, Samantha, Melissa, Roy and Jennifer; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers John Barton and David Barton; 6 sisters Genevieve Russell, Dorothy Howlett, Katherine Whitten, Linda Johnson, Patsy Snow and Marie Barton as well as other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds. Inurnment to follow at the St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Field of Honour, Goulds. Flowers gratefully accepted.
