SPARROW-SHAW, HELEN J. - 1926 - 2012 - Helen Jean Sparrow-Shaw of Northampton, New Brunswick passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the age of 85. Born at Benton, NB on May 30, 1926. Daughter of the late Earl and Christina (Carson) Porter. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Sparrow and Percy Shaw, daughter Karen Sparrow, grandchild Frederick Sparrow, brother Merrill Porter. She is survived by her children Patricia Drost (Meredith) and Donna Ralston (Kenneth) both of Northampton, NB; Earl Sparrow (Betty) of Mt. Uniacke, NS, Gordon Sparrow (Leah) of Northampton, NB, Richard Sparrow (Jill) of Kingsclear, NB, grandchildren, Brian Drost, Sandra Watters, Robert Ralston, Mark Ralston, John Sparrow, Gregory Sparrow, Heather Robbins, Christopher Sparrow, Eric Sparrow, Tanya Harris, Danny Hudson, and Gregory Hudson, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, nieces and nephews, brothers, Robert Porter (Gladys) and Thomas Porter (Thora).
Visitation from The Culberson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services for Helen Sparrow-Shaw will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Pembroke Baptist Church, Pembroke, NB with Pastor Charles Johnston officiating assisted by Pastor Carl O’Donnell. Pallbearers will be John Sparrow, Gregory Sparrow, Mark Ralston, Robert Ralston, Christopher Sparrow, Eric Sparrow. Committal service and Interment will follow at the Pemboke Cemetery.
