HUNTER, CLEVE - As a result of a motor vehicle accident, Cleve Hunter passed away on Sunday May 20, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born March 13, 1961 in Chatham, N.B., he was the son of MacDonald W. Hunter and Joanne McGivney. He was known in the community as an excellent carpenter and a fair, loyal friend. He was a lifelong avid biker, Dad, and friend to all. His sense of humour will live on through his daughter. He will be sadly missed by his parents; his spouse, Brenda Fougère; one daughter, Ashley of Shediac; two sisters: Anita MacDonald (Jerome) of Lowell, MA and Lisa Clements (Reginald) of Shediac; one brother, Clay (Aline) of Haute-Aboujagane, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396, Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated at Trinity United Church, 379, Main Street, Shediac, on Thursday May 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. By family request casual dress for funeral service please. He was predeceased by one sister, Amanda Hunter (1979). In lieu of flowers, a contribution to IWK Health Centre Foundation, the Ashley Hunter Trust Fund or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
