Passed peacefully away on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Jack (2001). Leaving to mourn her six children: Stephanie, John (Betty Stone), Judy (Bob Corbett), Libby (Art Lawson), Tom and Jane; ten grandchildren: Paul (Georgia), Bobbie, Angela (Marshall), Chris (Stacey), Roger (Gail), Michael (Sarah), Giselle (Granville), Alisha, Derek, Shauna; seven great-grandchildren; five sisters: Carmel Descano, Patricia Bailey, Shirley Constantine, Rosemarie Harvey and Sr. Brenda Phelan RSM; three sisters-in-law: Mary Meehan, Marguerite Ross and Anne Phelan-May; one brother-in-law Walter (Tubby) Collins; as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke’s Home or to a charity of one’s choice.
