We, the family of the late Corella Georgina Strickland would like to express our heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers for the constant support and prayers during Mom’s hospital stay and after her passing. To all who visited our homes with food, kind words, sent sympathy cards, on-line condolences, e-mails and made donations in Mom’s memory, we thank you. To those who paid their respect at the funeral home and travelled from near and far to attend Mom’s funeral your presence gave us strength to get through such a difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. Coish and staff of Northside General, Dr. Mendez of Halifax, Dr. Maharaj and Dr. Gammell of Sydney. A special thanks to the staff of 4C at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to our mother. To Kim and Tammy your professionalism and sincerity will always be remembered by the family. Our deepest thanks to William Bryant and Wayne Hutchison for officiating at the funeral service. Also thank you to Lyle Eady (nephew) for offering a special prayer at the graveside service. To Peter Walsh, Dan Campbell and the staff of W. J. Dooley Funeral Home, thank you so much for your support, guidance and professionalism during our time of need.
