1938 - 2012

We, the family of the late Fannie Watkins, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to those near and far who helped ease the sorrow of her death on May 11, 2012.

We acknowledge your gifts of cards, flowers, phone calls, visits, food and your presence. Thank you to St. Paul’s United Church Women of which Fannie was a life member. Her church family (UCW) was very important to her. During an 18 year struggle with Parkinsons, Fannie continued attending meetings, often helping in the kitchen from her wheelchair, such was her dedication.

Thank you to Frances Shears for being a part of her wedding party in 1959, and for your lovely tribute to her on Mother’s Day, 2012. Thank you to Rev. Dr. Tony Newell for your many visits to her home and the hospital. Thank you to Fillatre’s Funeral Home for your professionalism and kindness.
