STOREY, CHARLES - Mr. Charles Daniel Storey, husband of the late Sarah Storey, of Nelson Hollow, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 99. Born in Doaktown, he was the son of the late Edward and Agnes (Arbeau) Storey. He was retired from Colter’s Mill in Boiestown and was a member of the Anglican Church in Doaktown. Charles thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles is survived by his nephew, Tennyson Storey and his wife, Elizabeth Storey of New Bandon, as well as several other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, he is predeceased by his brothers, Fred, Harry and Tom; and his sisters, Geneve Lypkey, Laura Luke, Susie Parker, Eveline O’Donnell, Martha Burns and Violet Myshrall.
Mr. Charles Storey is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11 am from the funeral home chapel in Doaktown with Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating, assisted by Rev. Hayward Stewart and Rev. Cole Price. Burial will follow in the Anglican Church Cemetery in Doaktown. In his memory, donations made to a memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
