McARDLE, MARGARET ROSE - Edmonton, AB - Margaret Rose McArdle, 89, of Edmonton, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2012. Born in Moncton on February 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Florence (McLellan) and the late John Anthony McArdle. Rose was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A nurse by profession, she was a head nurse at the Moncton Hospital, retiring from nursing in Edmonton. She is survived by her sister-in-law Beulah (late Jack) McArdle; nieces: Kathryn, Beverly, Sherrie, Johna, Brenda, Jacqueline, Mary Ellen and Nancy; nephews: James, John, Robert, William and Stephen. Rose was predeceased by brother: Frank Sr. and Jack, sisters: Ester Shields, Bernice Arseneau and Mary-Joe Florence McArdle, and nephews: Frank Jr. McArdle and Bruce Arseneau.
Funeral mass was held at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Edmonton, on Tuesday, April 18, 2012.
