MORIN, MR. ROGER E. - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, May 29, 2012, at the age of 89 years and 6 months, Mr. Roger E. Morin passed away. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, born Fournier, of Edmundston, his children: Louise (Jean Daigle) of Edmundston, Rachel (Claude Carrier) of St-Basile, Céline (Mario Chassé) of Dieppe, Monique (Marc Long) of Edmundston, Jean-Louis (Denise Dubé) Edmundston, Hélène Morin of Courtice, ON, Denise (Jim Rice) of Edmundston; also 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Michel (Suzanne Morin of Edmundston).
The funeral service will be held in Lady of Seven Sorrows’ Church, Friday, June 1, at 11 am. Visitations will take place at J.B. Côté & son Funeral Home, 21 37th Avenue, Edmundston, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday, and Friday from 9 till 11 am. Donations to the Edmundston Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Mr. Morin was retired from Fraser Papers, a veteran of World War II, also a member of the Royal Canadian Air Forces, UCT Club #830, Knights of Columbus Counsil 7543.
