DUCKWORTH, Barbara Dianna “Lulu” – 59, Yarmouth, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 19, 1952 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Barbara Duckworth, Yarmouth, and the late Frank J. Duckworth. She was a homemaker and was a 30 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Branch No. 61, Yarmouth. Aside from her mother, Lulu is survived by a son, Wayne, Yarmouth; sisters, Shirley Morris, Betty Kenney, both of Yarmouth; Marilyn (Bill) Mahoney, Sandra (Mike) McKeough, both of Dartmouth; brothers, Joey (Jasmine) Duckworth, New Hampshire; David Duckworth, Michael (Cheryl) Duckworth, both of Yarmouth; John Duckworth, Forest Glen; Chris Duckworth, Gardiner’s Mill, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Bernadette Jenkins and a brother, James Duckworth. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 Wednesday evening at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth, with prayers at 8 p.m., and where the funeral service took place at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 31, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It has been requested that there be family flowers only.
