In Loving Memory
BRUNO BATTISTA ULIANA
After spending Christmas day with his loving family, Bruno Uliana went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the age of 76 years.
Bruno will be forever loved and remembered by his loving wife of 45 years, Joanne, his son Renato (Tricia) and her children Taiylor and Katie, his daughter Gloria (Ron) Tenisci and their children Angela and Andrina, his sister Lucia Uliana as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family in both Italy and Canada.
Bruno immigrated to Canada in 1954 and settled in Kamloops in 1955. It was here that Bruno met his wife to be, Joanne De Marni where they finally married in 1964. Bruno spent his career in the masonry trade until he was forced into early retirement in 1984 due to health reasons. During his retirement Bruno loved to tend to his flowers, especially the roses, his huge garden and also being with family. He was a lifetime member of the Columbo Lodge. Bruno touched the lives of many and he will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, staff and especially the emergency room at the Royal Inland Hospital for their attention and compassion for Bruno, it was deeply appreciated.
