May 27, 1949 – June 2, 2012. Passed away suddenly at his home in New Harbour, on Saturday, June 2, 2012, Maxwell Thorne, aged 63 years. Predeceased by parents; Rita and Herbert John Thorne, brother, Robert, sisters, Margaret and Violet. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are: his three sons, Matthew, Tyler and Craig , their mother Diane and grand-parents, Shirley Pretty and Max Bonnell. He is also lovingly remembered by four sisters; Florence ( Fred Welsh), Lena (Carl Hollett), Joyce ( Roland Rideout) and Barbara (Rick Reid); three brothers, Wallace (Gertie), Walter ( Maxine) and Alonzo (Linda),sister-in-law, Jennie Thorne, as well as a large number of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, with visitation on Monday, June 4th 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral.The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corps on Tuesday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
