PATRICIA HOSEK (Haz) 1928 - 2008 Patricia Hosek of Kamloops passed away at Kamloops Seniors Village on February 14, 2008 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her loving husband Frank, her sons Brian Hosek, Don (Carolyn) Hosek and daughter Karen Jackson. She is also survived by her brother Joe (Dolores) Haz, her sister-in-law Vicky Haz, her brother-in-law Charles Rhodes and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Fred, sister Irene and parents Frank and Cecilia Haz. Patricia was born in Ledniza, Czechoslovakia on October 17, 1928. She came to Canada when she was six years old and spent her early years in Coaldale, Alberta. She married Frank in Lethbridge, Alberta, where they had their family. The family moved to Kamloops in 1957 and resided there for forty years. In their retirement years, Patricia and Frank lived for a short time in White Rock, BC. In 2004, they returned to Kamloops to reside in Kamloops Seniors Village. Many thanks go to the caring staff who lovingly cared for Patricia in her final years. Those wishing to pay their respects by viewing may do so from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 17, 2008 in the Schoening Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Father Derrick Cameron will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. in Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
