MAXWELL, DIANE ELIZABETH - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Maxwell on June 2, 2012 at her home in Timberlea, Nova Scotia. She was born on September 28, 1960 in Port Cartier, Quebec. She is survived by her father, Elwood Maxwell (Marlene), brother, Scott Maxwell (Patricia), and sister, Shelley (Brian) Wallace, her nieces, Nicole Wallace and Stephanie Maxwell and her nephews, Brandon Wallace and Geoffrey Maxwell. Also survived by special friends, Susan (Acheson), Sarah, Thomas and Howard Myatt. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia Maxwell. Diane graduated from Fredericton High School in 1978. She then attended UNB and graduated with a Degree in Business Education in 1982. She worked for Sears Canada for a number of years in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
A memorial service will be held at Serenity Free Will Baptist Church, 260 Serenity Lane, Fredericton on June 14, 2012. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2:30 with the service at 3:00 with Rev. Jeff Crabtree officiating assisted by Rev. Paul Thompson. For those who wish, donations in memory of Diane may be made to the SPCA or the charity of the donor’s choice.
