Stanley was born in North Sydney, N.S. in 1928.
Predeceased by his wives, Gerleana (Brown) Noseworthy and Helen Henshaw. Loved father of Linda (Larry) Bell and Debbie (the late Dave) Donaldson, both of Smiths Falls and Paul (Dawn) Noseworthy of Scarborough. Cherished grandfather of Nikki (James) Duchesne and Lisa Donaldson-Parks (Steven Parks). Great-grandfather of Colt and Hailie Duchesne, Kelsey and Mya Donaldson-Parks. Stepfather of Dianne (Fred) Joyner of Brantford. Uncle of Brenda (Keates) Biron of Sydney, N.S. Son of the late Thomas and Annie (Grandy) Noseworthy and brother of the late Ethel Noseworthy, Hazel Stanley, Sadie Goora, Charles Noseworthy and Chesley Noseworthy.
Stanley was a former active Masonic Lodge member, proud member of the Canadian Merchant Marine on the tug ‘Foundation Franklin’, followed by a long career in the Canadian Armed Forces.
A private family service was held in the Blair & Son Funeral Home Smiths Falls with interment at Hillcrest Cemetery.
