BRENNEN, W. Patrick
Pat was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1952. He passed away on June 1, 2012 in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Pat was predeceased by his beloved wife and soulmate Mary; his parents Ralph and Eva; and two brothers, Maxwell and Clayton. He is survived by his sisters, Mae (Chris), Cecelia (John), Marita (Orvel) and sisters-in-law, Colleen and Penny. He also leaves behind 13 nephews and nieces and their families, and special friends, Terry and Judith Knight. Pat’s working years included several years in the banking industry, adventures as an entrepreneur, and most recently, a management position with B.C. Lotto Corp. Many golf courses will be minus an enthusiastic player. Regular football pools will be a member short. Everyone who knew or worked with Pat will miss his quick wit and dry sense of humour. On June 5, 2012 a graveside service was officiated by Fr. M. Baron at Yates Cemetary, Parksville B.C. Pallbearers were Angie, Chad, Wade and Beau Brennen, Kara Caron and Orvel Salberg.
