URQUHART, JOHN - Surrounded by his family, John Christopher Urquhart, died peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Monday, June 11, 2012. He was 54, husband of Cindy (Cripps) Urquhart of Kingston, NB. John was born on October 29, 1957, in Sussex, NB, the son of the late Murray and Hazel (Law) Urquhart. John is survived by his wife Cindy; sister Celia Kennedy and her husband Willard of Hampton, NB; brothers Bill Matheson and his wife Dale of Bolton, ON, Harry Matheson of Norton, NB, Walter Matheson and his wife Bella of French Village, NB, Murray Urquhart and his wife Shannon of Bedford, NS, Bryan Urquhart and his wife Lynn of Norton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Leo Martin, will be held at 11:00 am. on Friday, June 15, 2012, from Sherwood’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery. Donations in memory of John, made be made to Riverbank Cemetery, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
