Virginia I. Isherwood, 82, of Riverview, N.B., passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Born in Travellers Rest, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Edith (Smallman) Moase. Virginia was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and attended St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Riverview. She was a volunteer at the Moncton Hospital and the Riverview Tourist Bureau and a member of the Women’s Probus Club of Southeast New Brunswick. A ceramics teacher, she enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her family. Virginia will be sadly missed by her son, Herbert Isherwood of Summerside, and daughter, Carolyn Rowan (David) of Lincoln, N.B.; grandchildren, Andrew, Alanna, Crystal, Jacqueline and Jason; two great-grandchildren, Nadia and Chloe; sister, Alma MacDougall of Scarborough, Ont.; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry Isherwood (2006); son, Dale (2010) and brother, Herbert Moase. In keeping with Virginia’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, N.B. (506-858-1995) on Sunday, June 17, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Brent Ham officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
