FLOOD, ELIZABETH - On Thursday, June 14, 2012, peacefully at the Elizabeth-Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on December 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Flood. Survived by her children, Gillen (Bruce) Reed, Saint John; Lisa (Gary) Zed, Ottawa; Stephen (Marjean) Frink, Burnaby BC. Her greatest love and source of joy were her grandchildren, Cuyler and Sidney Frink; Olivia, Colin and Liam Zed. She will be deeply missed by her dear friend and companion of recent years Gordon (Sunny) Cluett. Elizabeth is also survived by her brothers, James and Michael Flood, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews with whom she remained close. She is predeceased by her brothers Harry and Richard, sister Eleanor and former husband Tim Frink. Liz loved everything about life and looked for the very best in everyone. She lived life to the fullest and had no regrets. She had a passion for travel, the arts, dancing, healthy living and sharing a meal with her family and friends. Her joy and attitude towards life will continue to be an inspiration to all who met her.
A Memorial Service will take place at Shadow Lawn Inn, 3180 Rothesay Road, Rothesay, N.B. on Tuesday, June 19th at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa.
