MORROW, ANNIE ERNESTINE - Annie E. Morrow of Harvey, NB passed away Friday evening, June 15, 2012 at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB. Annie was born at her home on Swan Road in 1916, a daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Swan) Speedy. She attended school with her friends at Swamp School. Annie was extremely active in her church community and was always ready to help at all church fund-raisers such as suppers, picnics or sales. She was a life-time member of Manners Sutton Sewing Circle and Knox Centennial Guild. She and her husband Lorne were members of the church choir for many years. Annie enjoyed the fiddle fests and attended as long as she could. She had numerous hobbies such as quilting, knitting, gardening and pickling and picking raspberries. She was an avid card player and she also enjoyed her Sunday drives with Anna. Annie is survived by her sons, Roger Morrow and his wife Dale and Lenwood Morrow and his wife Crysta, both of Harvey, NB; her grandchildren, Greg Morrow (Krista) and Lindsay MacDonald (Nick): her great grandchildren, Alice, Violet, Jasmine and Desmon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her husband Lorne Morrow in 1974.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn and Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment will be in Harvey Settlement Cemetery followed by a reception at the church. Pallbearers will be Greg Morrow, Nick MacDonald, George Phillips, Jimmy Little, Dennis Patterson and Levurn Swan. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Annie, the family has suggested Knox Presbyterian Church Parking Lot Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.
