JONAH, GARY - Gary Jonah of Kingston, NB passed away Monday, June 11th in Edmonton AB. He was born in Fredericton, NB January 1961 to the late Gesner and Gloria (McKimmie) Jonah. He was currently employed by Bernie’s Oil Service in Alberta and was a long time employee of Ernie’s Landscaping Saint John, NB and AMJ Campbell Van Lines of Halifax, NS. Gary was a man of great humor who enjoyed his life to the fullest, he loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving spouse of 20 years Alison (Lamrock) Schickler of Kingston, NB; sons Kirk Douglas Jonah of Saint John, NB and Jake Schickler of Kingston, NB; sisters Kim Carr (Hazen) of Geary, NB and Diane Jonah (Pete) of Dartmouth, NS; brothers Stephen Jonah (Donna) of Tracy, NB and Mike Jonah (Sylvia) of Toronto ON; nieces, nephews, in-laws, many friends and devoted dogs Buddy and George.
By request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Long Reach United Church, 3232 Route 845 Long Reach, Kingston Peninsula, NB(506-763-2373) on Friday, June 22nd, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Long Reach United Church Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Long Reach Anglican Church hall.
