Robert was the son of the late Harry and Jessie Swinamer. He leaves behind for a time, his devoted wife Ella (nee Bond). Beloved father of Shelley (Henry), Nancy (Joe), Ruth (William), MaryAnne (the late Barry), Daniel (Marlene), David (Leida). Lovingly remembered by his seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Muriel, Margaret, Vernon and Weldon of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his sister Marion and his brothers Lester & Lawrence. Robert served for thirty years in the R.C.A.F. C.W.O. He was keely interested in amateur radio and his call letters were VE3BXG. Robert was a "Mr. Fix Anything" for his family and friends. He faithfully attended Calvary Baptist Church, Main St., Ottawa. Service was held in the Central Chapel of Hulse on Tuesday, June 19th at 11:30am. Officiated by Paster Matt Rudd and Pastor Robert McRoberts.
