Passed away into the arms of the Lord on June 14, 2012 following complications from a fall.
Gordon is survived and much loved by his wife Doris; sons Bob (Donna) and Ken (Marion); daughter Pat; grandchildren Christina, Sharon (Chris), Brad (Aspen), Andrea and Laura (Jason); great-grandchildren Andrew, Emily, Hannah, Sophie, Tyler, Kaitlin and Carter; brother George (Eleanor); and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Lillie, Mabel, Annie and Mildred, and brothers Art and Woodrow.
Gordon was a man of integrity who worked hard for his family. He particularly enjoyed his job as a Pioneer Grain elevator manager in Hussar, Alberta. In later years Gordon enjoyed his garden, daily errands around Sechelt as well as church on Sundays. Above all, Gordon was devoted to his family and was always there to help.
In lieu of flowers, kindly donate to Habitat for Humanity, Sunshine Coast. A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Faith Lutheran Church, 4607 Whitaker Road, Sechelt, BC, on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
