Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Sunday, June 17, 2012, Mr. Norman John Francis, age 85 years, of Hermitage. Leaving to mourn his loving family: sister, Irene Simms, at St. John’s; brother, Ross Francis, at New Brunswick; special friends and caretakers, Paula and husband, Hubert King, with whom he resided, and Gary King at Bishop’s Falls; caretakers, Dianne Morris at Hermitage and Gloria Rose at Paradise; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by brother, Thomas Francis; sisters, Gertie, Dulcie, Dorothy, Florence, Ettie and Eva; brother in law, Eric Simms.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 am from St. Savior’s Anglican Church in Hermitage with Rev. Colbourne officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Hermitage.
