Passed peacefully away on June 21, 2012, after a brief illness, David Gunn of St. John’s. Leaving to mourn his dearly loved wife Geraldine (Gerry) (nee Tobin); nieces: Elizabeth Cooper (Jim), Alexia Holden (Fred); nephew Jim Halliday (Barbara); great-nephews: Bruce Cooper (Krista Vokey), Scott Holden (Joanie); great- niece Suzanne Borgaonkar (Mark); sister-in-law Janet Watkins (Jim) of Alexandria Virginia and her children Chris McDonough (Maureen), Sean McDonough (Whitney), Robert McDonough (Victoria) and Siobhan McDonough (Joe), many great-grand-nieces and nephews and a circle of dear friends and honorary family members. At David’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation in David’s name would be kindly accepted.
