Sheila Cormier
CORMIER, SHEILA - God came on Sunday, June 24, 2012 to bring Sheila to his spiritual home. We think he was short of angels because everybody that knew her knows she was an angel here on earth. She left us peacefully surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sheila Marie (Ljungquist) Cormier, 53, of Grand-Barachois, passed away on June 24, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born November 9, 1958 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Gene Ljungquist and the late Deanna Pisco. She was employed at Sinko Inc. prior to her sickness. Sheila was survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Leophane Cormier; her father Gene Ljungquist; a son, Dean Cormier (Jennifer); four step-children: Danny Cormier (Kim) and Debbie Cormier both of Florida, Marcel Cormier of New York and Ryan Cormier of Delaware; three sisters: Cindy McDonald (Bill) of California, Kim Santoro and Penny Ljungquist (Roy) both of Connecticut; six grandchildren: Robbie, Ashley, Mandy, Cassie, Leo and Renee; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Deanna Pisco and her brother Gene Jr. Ljungquist
By request there will be a celebration of life service at Saint-Henri R.C. Church, Grand-Barachois on Friday, June 29th, 2012 at 11 a.m. A contribution to the Dr. George-L.-Dumont, oncology (Palliative Care Unit) or the Grand-Barachois Cemetery would be appreciated.
