EVERETT, AUDREY LOUISE (nee FAULKNER) - 1926 - 2012 - Audrey Louise Everett (nee Faulkner) passed away peacefully on July 3, 2012, at the age of 85, with her son and daughter by her side in Upper River Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eugene Clarkson Everett. She was born in Woodstock, NB on August 11, 1926 to the late Robert and Elva Faulkner, and is survived by her son, Gordon (Joan) Everett of Woodstock, daughter, Betty (Michael) Gardiner of New Maryland, grandchildren, Mark (Susan Simpson) Everett of Halifax, Jayne Gardiner of Florida, Catherine (Dwayne) Ells of Moncton, Robert (Emily) Gardiner of Vancouver, great granddaughter, Lauren Everett of Halifax, great grandson, Owen Ells of Moncton, special nieces, Lori Palmer, Mary Lee Gill, Gail Shaw, and their families, and brother Ronald (Joanne) Faulkner and their family. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert Faulkner and grandson Gregory Everett. Audrey was a devoted member of St. Luke's Anglican Church. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, playing cards and spending time at her cottage on Davidson Lake, but her greatest joy in life came from caring for and spending time with her family. A devoted wife for 63 years, she gave her heart and soul to her children and grandchildren and particularly proud of her two great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed for her loving and caring manner, her appreciative spirit, her endless energy and her infectious laugh. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Woodstock Extra Mural Program, the staff of Shaw’s Special Care Home in Waterville, and to staff of the Concentrated Care Unit at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.
Family will be accepting visitors at The Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, on Friday, July 6th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Main Street, Woodstock, on Saturday, July 7th at 11am, Rev. Shirley Noseworthy officiating. For those who wish, memorial gifts may be to the Extra Mural Program – Woodstock Unit, or St. Luke’s Anglican Church.
