Lewis "Mike" Mickels 1932 ~ 2008 Lewis Mike Mikels of Kamloops passed away July 5, 2008 at 76 years of age. He is survived by his common-law wife Arleen, many long time friends, and his little dog Sandy. Mike was born in Peterboro on January 15, 1932. He was a long time resident of North Kamloops and for many years was a well-known taxi driver. Mike was an enthusiastic member of McArthur Park Lawn Bowling Club and enjoyed all the activities of this group. He also loved to play golf, crib and enjoying gardening. An informal Coffee Time for friends and family to celebrate Mike's life will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the Kamloops Alliance Church, 233 Fortune Drive.
