HUDSON (Stoddart), Martha Norma - 94 of Port Wade. Born September 24, 1917 in Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on July 1, 2012 in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late James and Annie Stoddart. Martha was the last surviving member of her immediate family. After graduating from Normal College in 1937, Martha spent her life educating others, including as an adult educator with the Nova Scotia Literacy Council. She was an active member and organist of Port Wade United Baptist Church, long-time member of Port Wade New Horizons Club, Annapolis County Senior's Council and Granville Beach Sewing Circle. She is survived by sons, Larry (Sarah), Port Wade; Dale (Bonnie), Dartmouth; and daughter-in-law, Judy Hudson, Hubbards. Martha delighted in her grandchildren, Terry Milne (Randy), Hammonds Plains; Cheryl Myatt (Nathan), Bedford; Brian Hudson, Scotland; and Allison Hudson, Halifax; great-grandchildren, Leanne Hudson, Aiden and Remington Milne. She was predeceased by husband, Gerald Hudson; son, Neil Edward; daughter, Brenda (in infancy); grandson, Lee Hudson; sisters, Ruth Stoddart, Marianna (Bruce) Thorbourne and brother, James (Mary) Stoddart.
