MR. JOHN “JACK” TEMPLETON, age 54 of Moose Jaw, passed away on December 31, 2009. John was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and received his public school education in Yorkton and at Balfour Collegiate in Regina before earning his Business Degree at the University of Regina. He spent the last several years instructing in the Business program at SIAST in Moose Jaw. John had a passion and a wide range of knowledge for repairing and building and was known to many as a “Jack “of all trades. He was actively involved with his son’s sports as a coach, manager and organizer and spent countless hours driving Clinton and Montana to their soccer games, hockey games and later, when they could drive themselves, John would be there as a supportive parent and fan. Predeceased by his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles, John is survived by his parents, Bob and Shirley Templeton of Moose Jaw; sons: Clinton of Regina and Montana of Moose Jaw – both of whom he was so proud of, and their mother Trina of Assiniboia. One brother, Bill (Nancy) of Barrie, Ont.; two sisters: Pat (Larry) Martin of Lethbridge and Jo (Ken) Fairhead of Ebenezer, Sask., aunt, Edith Rannie of Moose Jaw, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. John’s life will be celebrated on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2p.m. from Minto United Church, 1036 7th Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw with Reverend John Carley officiating. Memorialization will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be forwarded to Pine Lodge, c/o Regina Recovery Homes Inc., Box 457, Indian Head, SK S0G 2K0.
