It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of their father and brother, Reginald MacLellan on July 9, 2012, at Harbourstone Enchanced Care, Sydney, N.S.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late William and Jessie (Morrison) MacLellan.
Reginald was in the Air Force for 26 years and a member of the New Waterford Pensioners Club.
He is survived by daughters, Janette (John) Blais, White Lake, Ont., Kimberly Anne (Ed), Cold Lake, Alta.; son, Steven, Ottawa; sisters, Shirley (Billy) Doyle, Sheila (Neil) MacMillan; brothers, Wayne (Cathy), Steve (Lylie), Hector (Catherine); grandchildren, Tyler, Katrina, Calvin, Josh and Gaia; as well as nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by brothers, John Angus in infancy, William, Bernard, Allan and sister, Mary Elizabeth.
Cremation has taken place and a chapel service to celebrate Reginald’s life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500, with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, buried with his mother.
