
Dylan Brown
BROWN, DYLAN SCOTT ALEXANDER - Dylan Brown, beloved son of Nova Lee and Trevor Brown of Calgary, passed away on July 9, 2012 at the age of 20 years. Dylan was born September 25, 1991 in Saint John, New Brunswick. He is currently enrolled in Pure Math at the University of Calgary Bachelor of Science Program. He lived in Quispamsis, New Brunswick until the age of 5. He has lived in Calgary since then. He worked as a tutor at Renert Centre for 4 years. His favourite hockey team was the Detroit Red Wings, favourite author was J.R.R. Tolkien - Lord of the Rings, and favourite band was Finntroll. His greatest achievement was graduating with an IB Diploma with Honours from Henry Wisewood. Some of his biggest passions were snowboarding, music, Japanese Anime, and his two dogs "Penny" and "Piper." One of his most treasured items was his custom designed and made "Ran" guitar. Dylan is survived by his parents Trevor and Nova Lee Brown; sister Zoe Brown; brother Alex Brown; grandparents Elizabeth Lutes and Rose Brown; Uncle Rick Brown (Deanna); Aunts Cheryl Currie (Randy), Jennifer Campbell (Joe) and Dana Hannett (David); cousins Katie, Ava, Aaron, Colton, Jade, Rhyen and Corey, along with many close friends. Dylan was predeceased by his grandfathers Huxley Brown (2009) and Ken Lutes (2012).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church, Norton. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), Hampton. Online memorials and condolences may be made at www.reidsfh.com
