After a courageous battle with cancer, Buddy passed away at home surrounded by family.
Born in Bras d’Or, he was the son of the late Alexander and Melinda (Day) Ross.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Garnier and son, Wayne, three grandchildren, six sisters and four brothers.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Linda (Evans) Ross, one sister and three brothers in infancy.
In accordance with Buddy’s wishes there will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish, Bras d’Or at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Burial will follow St. Joseph's Cemetery, York Street, Sydney Mines.
