It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Donald Stuart Bowring, age 79, from Britannia at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on July 18, 2012. Predeceased by his parents, William George and Bertha Bowring and brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn are his wife, Minnie; children, Cindy, Sherry (George), Marie (Bram), Caroline (Norm), Michael (Cindy), Donnie (Megan); grandchildren, April (Greg), Lori (Mitchell), Jeffrey, Andrew, Matthew, Jessica, Emily, Jaxen; great grandchidren, Bayley and Sadie; sister, Inez George and many other relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ray Case, took place on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from the United Church, Britannia with interment following.
