The death occurred suddenly and peacefully at his summer residence (Stanley Bridge) on Saturday, July 21, 2012, of Barry Joseph Butler of Charlottetown, age 66. Survived by his best friend and loving wife of 43 years, Mona (nee Arsenault); sons Patrick (Donna), Hampshire; Kent (Krisanne), Charlottetown; proud grandfather (Pepe) of Gordon, Justin, Luke, Jordyn; and sister Colleen (Ron) Wise; sister-in-law Jean Arsenault, Summerside; Michael Aresenault, Vancouver, B.C.; Stephen (Kellie) Arsenault, Summerside. Remembered by many lifelong close friends. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Nora (Enman) Butler, and stepmother Vera (Moore) Butler. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:45 a.m., then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barry can be made to Camp Triumph.
