It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elias Genge of Anchor Point, NL, announce his passing on July 14, 2012 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sister-in-law Ida Genge; brother-in-law Pearce Genge and family; nephews and nieces Kenneth (Marsha), Tana, Riley, Emma (George Hen), and Gere; special friends Alph and Louria Chislett, and Elgin Chambers. He was predeceased by parents Abel and Elizabeth (Chambers), Genge, brothers Thomas, Stephen and Stanley, and sisters Laura and Priscilla. Visitation took place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point followed by the funeral service on Saturday, July 14 with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
